The existing space had some partitioning in place but required refurbishment before they moved in with their existing furniture. DRCG were engaged to make the new office fully fit for purpose and to install a specialist kitchen and a coordinated tea point. Our teams are expert at relocation work and can perform large installations without interrupting our clients’ business activity. Typically, they start work after trading closes on Friday and follow a refined assembly, connection and testing process so that our clients can start trading without disruption on Monday morning.
Our team consulted on trader voice and data systems and we designed and built a new Comms Room. We also installed upgraded cabling and uninterruptible power supplies (UPS) and tested the existing fire suppression and leak detection system. With the infrastructure in place, we were able to upgrade the floor coverings, refurbish and reconfigure the partitioning, replacing doors as required. We also installed some small pieces of bespoke furniture as requested by the client.
Most of our projects include a tea point. These important spaces are highly specced in terms of the build quality and finish as they are very visible and heavily used for preparing drinks and basic meals. In this case, the client had their own executive chef, so, in addition to the tea point, we were required to design a fully appointed professional kitchen.
